The VMC meeting for academic session 2008-2009 was invited under the hon’ble VMC chairman Col.M.A.kelkar. The meeting was coordinated by Principal Sh. Rakesh Chaturvedi in presence of VMC members.
Principal Sh.Rakesh Chaturvedi welcomed the hon’ble chairman and VMC members. He introduced the chairman & VMC member with the agenda of the meeting.
Members were apprised of progressive steps taken to improve Vidyalaya infrastructure and latest technological advancement.

Mr. Rakesh Chaturvedi Principal and member secretary apprised the VMC members and Hon’ble chairman VMC about the problem related to admission of SC/ ST category. In class I out of 80 admission, no. of SC candidates 27 and no. of ST candidates NIL were admitted. From class II to XII out of 16, in Fresh admission SC candidate 03 and ST candidates were NIL. All SC/ ST candidates who applied for admission were admitted in the respective classes. |

Kumar Sarswat informed about need of underpass/ over bridge for students, staff and parents crossing highway from primary to secondary and vice versa. The NGO/ PTA/ VMC member expressed concern about the problem and matter has already been taken up with national highway authority of India (NHAI) and is to be persued by all concerned. |

a) The Principal informed the house that second phase Medical check-up of students is to be done soon.
b) Permission of house was also sought The Principal for cleaning the school building along with staff quarters vacant area as there is lot of unwanted vegetation. It may be risky for students for there can be any venomous insect or snake etc. Honorable chairman was also requested to direct the cantt official to manage tractor or grass cutter machine etc.from EBS side so that unnecessary vegetation can be removed.
c) The house was agreed to do request for getting “REQUEST ROADWAYS BUS STOP” at KV EBS Babugarh Cantt.
d) K.V.is also trying to get Broad Band connection; Honourable Chairman also assured house to use his good office to get this facility for the school students. |

Suggestion given Honourable chairman:
a) Arranging some visit tours of near by prominent school /College involving students, who achieved special goals or position in various activities like games, sports, Science exhibition Social science exhibition, Math/Science Olympiad, Scout guide activities Co-Curricular activities selected or passing any competition of India level, so that students can exchange their views with each other successfully.
b) Lecture by some eminent educationist or experienced/successful persons/students should be arranged in school so that students may get a chance to discuss with such famous personality& get motivated/ benefited.
c) Honourable Chairman also suggested that school is such a place where students can be encouraged for creativity related to science project Social Science activities cultural activities, Drawing, Painting etc.
d) In the last not the least Honourable Chairman thanked the school authority for celebrating “GRAND PARENTS DAY”; on 25-10-2008 for the first time in the history of KV EBS Babugarh cantt, which proved an issue of discussion among the parents in this area. It was praised by everyone. |

The meeting ended with the vote of thanks by Sh Satish Kumar PGT (English) to Col.Dev Raj chairman VMC & Commandant EBS Babugarh Cantt and other, VMC members who devoted their valuable time for upliftment of vidyalaya. The house was assured that valued suggestion would be implemented for student’s betterment.
